It quotes directly from &#8220;<em><strong>The Word Appears in the Flesh<\/strong>&#8220;<\/em>\u00a0and says, \u201c<strong>You have to look at <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">whether or not there is the work of the Holy Spirit<\/span><\/span> in this way, whether or not these words are the expression of the truth, who is testified to, and what it can bring you. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Distinguishing between <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the true way and the false way<\/span><\/span> requires several aspects of basic knowledge, the most fundamental of which is to tell <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff0000;\">whether or not the work of the Holy Spirit is present<\/span> therein.<\/strong>\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a> \u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.holyspiritspeaks.org\/eastern-lightnings-prosperity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Church of Almighty God, About Us, Frequently Asked Questions, \u201c<em>The Origin of the Eastern Lightning\u2019s Prosperity<\/em><\/a>,\u201d accessed August 10, 2021; <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/books\/reader?id=KFM_DwAAQBAJ&amp;pg=GBS.PT2466_295&amp;q=Distinguishing+between+the+true+way+and+the+false+way+requires+several+aspects+of+basic+knowledge%2C+the+most+fundamental+of+which+is+to+tell+whether+or+not+the+work+of+the+Holy+Spirit+is+present+therein\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google e-book<\/a>, page 2479.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ef0c992 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ef0c992\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li><p>Then, it gives out <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>three tests<\/strong><\/span> that will confirm in fact whether the work of the CAG is truly from God: &#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">First<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>, <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>the true way contains the work of the Holy Spirit.<\/strong><\/span><\/span>The ministry growth of CAG proves the point. \u201cBecause the Church of Almighty God contains the work of the Holy Spirit, it therefore appears so full of vitality, while the various denominations are bleak, desolate, and have lost the work of the Holy Spirit, standing in a stark contrast with the Church of Almighty God. Therefore, it is<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong> self-evident<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>which is the true way and which is the old way.\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a> <strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #ff0000;\">This is a subjective test as it says \u201c<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\">self-evident<\/span>\u201d in the above argument.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Second, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">&#8220;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">the true way contains the truth, can indicate to people the path of practice in the new age, and can allow people to gain new provisions for life.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201d<\/span><a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/a> How can one know what is the truth? The argument goes: &#8220;People no longer seek to satisfy their own flesh and no longer make deals with God. Instead, they only seek to satisfy God\u2019s intentions and offer up to God everything they have. In this way, people, as created beings, gradually regain a normal relationship with the Creator. They become more and more loving toward God, more submissive and more worshipful, and finally they start looking more like man should.&#8221;<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\"><sup>[4]<\/sup><\/a> <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">This is not an objective test.<\/span><\/strong> Once feeling about his or her own <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">change of personal desires and the relationship with God is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">self-evident a subjective test<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Third,<\/span><\/strong> \u201c<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">the true way gives man a new and practical understanding about God.<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\"><sup>[5]<\/sup><\/a> In its in reasoning, the CAG still uses <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">another subjective <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">self-evaluation,<\/span><\/span> i.e., through personal experience,<\/span><\/strong> to test itself as truth. It says, &#8220;It is not difficult to discover that the brothers and sisters of the Church of Almighty God have gained new knowledge and a more nuanced understanding about God through the manner in which they seek the truth\u2026.\u2026 <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Through experiencing Almighty God\u2019s work<\/em>, people see that God saves mankind\u2026\u2026<\/span><\/strong> <em>Experiencing Almighty God\u2019s work and word<\/em>\u00a0helps resolve many misconceptions people have had about God\u2026.. color: #0000ff;\">Good feelings and personal sincerity are not the standards<\/span> by which to determine <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\">whether something is true or not<\/span>. Rather, things that are <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">corresponding to reality and objectively verifiable<\/span> are means by which objective truth of reality is ascertained.<\/strong><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ligonier.org\/blog\/general-and-special-revelation-reformed-approach-science-and-scripture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">All Truth is God&#8217;s Truth<\/span><\/strong> (R.C. Sproul)<\/a>: &#8220;I believe firmly that all of truth is God\u2019s truth, and I believe that God has not only given revelation in sacred Scripture, but also, the sacred Scripture itself tells us that God reveals Himself in nature\u2014which we call natural revelation. And, I once asked a seminary class of mine that was a conservative group, I said, \u201cHow many of you believe that God\u2019s revelation in Scripture is infallible?\u201d And they all raised their hand. And I said, \u201cAnd how many of you believe that God\u2019s revelation in nature is infallible, and nobody raised their hand. It\u2019s the <em>same<\/em> God who\u2019s giving the revelation.&#8221;<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The Truth about the Truth<\/span><\/strong> (Norman L. Geisler):<\/span><ol><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ol><li><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Truth is what corresponds to reality.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #800000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The correspondence view of truth cannot be denied without using it since<\/span>:<\/span><\/strong><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Those who deny it assume their view <span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">corresponds<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> to reality.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">In reality everyone<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> holds to a correspondence view of truth.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Those who deny it in theory, use it in practice.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f1130a5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f1130a5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Arguments for the Correspondence View of Truth<\/span><\/strong> (Norman L. Geisler):<ol><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ol><li>It is implied in the ninth command (\u201cYou shall not bear false witness\u201d), i.e., don\u2019t misrepresent the facts.<\/li><li>It is entailed in Acts 24 when it says you can \u201clearn the truth\u201d when you \u201cverify [the facts]\u201d (vs. 8, 11).<\/li><li>It is manifest in Genesis 42:16 when Joseph said they should look at the facts \u201cso that your words may be tested to see if you are telling the truth.\u201d<\/li><li>It was employed in the test for a false prophet whose prophecy was considered false \u201cif the word does not come to pass or come true\u201d (Deut. 18:22).<\/li><li>It is utilized in everyday conversations when we consider something false if it misrepresents the facts (e.g., we say \u201ccheck the facts\u201d and \u201ccheck it out for yourself\u201d and the like).<\/li><li>It is essential to a legal oath when one promises \u201cto tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.\u201d<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Answering objections to the Correspondence View of Truth<\/span> <\/strong>(Norman L. Geisler):<ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Objection 1:<\/span><\/strong> Jesus said, \u201cI am the truth\u201d (not, \u201cI correspond to the facts\u201d).<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">Response<\/span><\/strong><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">: <\/span><\/strong>Jesus\u2019 lips and life perfectly corresponded to the facts. Persons can represent truth as well as propositions.<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Objection 2:<\/span><\/strong> God is truth, and He does not correspond to any reality beyond Himself.<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Response<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>: <\/strong><\/span>God\u2019s words and actions do correspond to His mind and nature.\u00a0 Thus God is \u201ctrue\u201d to Himself.\u00a0 This is perfect correspondence.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bddcb7f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bddcb7f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Other Views of Truth<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">(Richard G.
