My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.&#8221; (Phil. 1:23, ESV)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>Unbelievers will be in sheol\/hades (Luke 16:23; Matt. 16:18; Rev. 20:13-14). <sup>&#8220;13 <\/sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. <\/span><sup>14\u00a0<\/sup><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.&#8221; (Rev. 20:13-14, ESV)<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">2. At Christ\u2019s second coming, \u201cthe dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air\u201d (1 Thess. 4:16-17).<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">3. All human souls are immortal. \u201cThese will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life\u201d (Matt. 25:46).<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">4. Annihilation of a wicked soul, unbelievers or otherwise, is not a doctrine found in the Bible or Christian traditions.<\/p><ul><li><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Reincarnation is unbiblical. Human beings only die once: &#8220;<span id=\"en-ESV-30116\" class=\"text Heb-9-27\">And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.&#8221; (Heb. 9:27, ESV)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Jesus taught resurrection, not reincarnation. Jesus says, &#8220;<span id=\"en-ESV-26537\" class=\"text John-11-25\"><span class=\"woj\">I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,<\/span><\/span><span id=\"en-ESV-26538\" class=\"text John-11-26\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">\u00a0<\/sup>and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?\u201d (John 11:25-26, ESV)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><span id=\"en-ESV-26539\" class=\"text John-11-27\"><\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Did Jesus say John the Baptist was Elijah reincarnated in Matt. 11:14?\u00a0 NO, here are four reasons:<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid6\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">1. Reincarnation assumes the death of a body but<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Elijah never died and was caught up to heaven (2 Kings <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">2:11<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">)<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.<\/span> <\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid7\" class=\"markedContent\"> <\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">2. When Elijah appeared in the Transfiguration with Jesus (Matt. 17:1<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">6), <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">John the Baptist had been beheaded earlier (Matt. 14:1-12).<\/span><\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"> <\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid9\" class=\"markedContent\"> <\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">3. In Luke 1:17, it says that John the Baptist will go before Christ &#8220;in the spirit and power <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of Elijah.&#8221; <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">This clarifies that in Matthew 11:14 Jesus meant John the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Baptist would have <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the power of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Elijah<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">. The first are the unbelievers, who are those without religious beliefs. They are called unbelievers\u2026.. The second type includes the various people of faith apart from the unbelievers. Among mankind, I divide these people of faith into several major groups: The first are Jewish, the second are Catholic, the third are Christian, the fourth are Muslim, and the fifth are Buddhist; there are five kinds. These are the various kind of people of faith. The third type includes those who believe in God, and this includes you. A soul stays in a temporary location and wait three days, three months, three years, 30 years, 300 years, or 3000 years as a particular type of human is needed. Then, that type of person is reincarnated.<\/li><li><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>The second type is various people of faith.<\/strong><\/span> CAG\u2019s Holy books identifies five major religions: Jewish, Catholic, Christian, Muslim, and Buddhist.<\/li><\/ol><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Jewish people are judged by works prescribed by Jewish law. They are reincarnated three to seven times and then stay in the spirit realm.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Catholic believers are judged by works prescribed by Catholic rules and traditions, they are reincarnated three to seven times and then stay in the spirit realm.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Christians, i.e., Protestants, are people who do not believe in Almighty God. They are judged by works prescribed by the Bible, and are reincarnated three to seven times and then stay in the spirit realm until the \u201crapture\u201d or \u201centering heaven\u201d.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Muslims are judged by works prescribed by Islamic rules and traditions, they are reincarnated three to seven times and then stay in the spirit realm.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Buddhist monks and nuns are judged by works, they are reincarnated three to seven times and then stay in the spirit realm. For those who have reached fruition, they stay and take up a position. Those who failed the exam they could go through the cycle of reincarnation again.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">5. <strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">The third type is Almighty God\u2019s followers.<\/span><\/strong> They are divided into two types of people, the chosen ones, and the service-doers.<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The chosen ones<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/span> go through a thorough examination to decide whether they are allowed to stay and made complete by God during the end times. Those who give up or do evil things will be disqualified and reincarnated as animals. If a person has this kind of attitude in their service to God, God will, as a result of this attitude, strip them of their eligibility to serve, and will once more toss them back among the unbelievers\u2026. They will be <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>reincarnated as an animal and receive the same punishment<\/em><\/strong><\/span> in the spiritual world as an unbeliever\u2026. However, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #993300; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>prominently missing in the group is Hinduism.<\/strong><\/span><\/span> In terms of the total number of followers, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #008000;\"><strong>Hinduism is the third largest major religion in the world. Is this an honest mistake made by the author, the Almighty God of the last days?<\/strong><\/span><\/li><li>There are doctrinal similarities between the Church of Almighty God\u2019s beliefs and ministry practices and that of Hinduism. Here are five items:<\/li><\/ul><ol><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ol><li>CAG has the cycle of life and death; Hinduism has reincarnation.<\/li><li>CAG has a female Christ; Hinduism has female goddesses.<\/li><li>CAG\u2019s Almighty God is the One Truth, who is the creator of all things except <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cag.clearthinking247.com\/non-created-beings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">non-created beings, e.g., messengers and angels<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a>; Hinduism has the One Truth and the existence of other gods.<\/li><li>CAG requires good works and condemn evil behaviors which leads to God\u2019s punishments; Hinduism has the karma effect, i.e., you reap what you sowed.<\/li><li>CAG\u2019s &#8220;<em>The Word Appears in the Flesh&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0does not identify Hinduism as one of the major religions; CAG itself is identified as God\u2019s people, which is the only option left for the missing Hinduism.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol><ul><li>There are many commonalities between CAG\u2019s doctrines and practices and that of Hinduism. Except numbers 3 and 5, Buddhism is also in common with three of the five points listed in comparing with CAG doctrines. The above five highlighted similarities do not by themselves prove any directly relationship or connection between the two religions. It does, however, indicates that Hinduism thoughts or similar ideas, even by sheer coincidence, somehow through some unknown means might have creeped into CAG\u2019s system of theology. How does a common person discern if CAG is a Christian church without an in-depth study of CAG beliefs?<\/li><li>If the cycle of life (reincarnation) were true as CAG claims, does CAG believe in Hell?
