Here is an excerpt from &#8220;<em>The Word Appears in the Flesh<\/em>&#8220;: &#8220;God is meant to be revered and obeyed, because His being and His disposition are not the same as those of a created being and are above those of a created being. <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">God is self-existent and everlasting<\/span><\/strong>, He is a non-created being, and only God is worthy of reverence and obedience; man is not qualified for this.&#8221;<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a><\/p><p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/books\/reader?id=KFM_DwAAQBAJ&amp;pg=GBS.PT2558.w.0.0.221_144&amp;q=God+is+self-existent+and+everlasting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Church of Almighty God, <em>The Word Appears in the Flesh,<\/em> \u201cGod\u2019s Work and Man\u2019s Work\u201d<\/a>, accessed December 21, 2021, Google e-book, page 2571; pdf, 2561, &amp; 1569. <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1Vn7Yp1rFnZFECyoulTCa1ZX4rJ1j2-q4\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(The earlier pdf version <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>does not<\/strong><\/span> have the phrase \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">God is self-existent and everlasting<\/span><\/strong>.\u201d)<\/a><\/p><\/li><li><p>As noted above, the phrase \u201cGod is self-existent and everlasting\u201d <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>was not<\/strong> <\/span>in the earlier version of CAG\u2019s scripture. Besides God, there are other non-created beings described in &#8220;<em>The Word Appears in the Flesh&#8221;.<\/em>\u00a0God is the creator and has the authority and power over created beings and <strong>\u201cnon-created beings, such as God\u2019s messengers and angels<\/strong>\u2026..\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[2]<\/a> CAG followers believe Almighty God commands all things and holds sovereignty over all things, including visible and invisible, created, and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>non-created beings<\/strong><\/span><\/span>. The CAG\u2019s Holy book says,<\/p><p>&#8220;He possesses the unique authority that holds sovereignty over human fate, and so only the Creator is man\u2019s unique Master.
